Nico and Betty were gone for the afternoon. This left Will all alone with too many thoughts. He needed to talk to someone like his best friend, but he had ruined that. Angie was with someone else, and they were having a baby. “It should have been Angie and me. We were going to have a family. And because of what I did, I’ll be alone for the rest of my life.”
Will was yelling at himself by this time. He didn't deserve Angie. Will would have to try to live without her. She deserved happiness.
Will sat down on the sofa and realized he wanted to be happy, too. A single tear rolled down his sad face. Would he ever be happy again? Only time would tell. Did he deserve to be? The jury was still out on that.
