Welcome to Be A Goldfish: A Ted Lasso Multimedia Microbang! We're thrilled to have you.This is an event for small and non-traditional works in the Ted Lasso fandom. We want to remind you to appreciate the little things, be kind to your fellow humans, enjoy generously, and "be a goldfish."

The rules of this event are very brief and simple, we hope. Still, we have a longer, more in depth FAQ here as well as in our second sticky, that details every possible thing we could think of in what may very well be excessive detail. However, we will still give a concise summary here:

• This event takes place over two (2) months: 1 May - 30 June 2025, during which you may post as many works as you like.
   
• There is a 750-word maximum on all text-based works. Be it fic, meta, or something else. Anything between 1 and 750 words is fair game
   
• Don't limit yourself to fic. You can make traditional and digital fanart, gifs, web weaves, amvs, recipes, fiber art, and anything else you can think of. We have some general guidelines, so check those out if you're going to be making art. Generally though, use your best judgement. It should feel equivalent-ish to about 750 words, yknow?
   
• When you post a work for the challenge, fill out the Entry Submission Form. This is for us to keep track of what people are making and so we can post a masterlist at the end. No fan(work) left behind!
   
• Comment with wild abandon! As works are posted, we encourage everyone to go leave comments in any locale of their choosing. As you leave comments you can fill out our Comment Milestone Form to brag to us about how good a commentor you are.
   
• At the end of the event, fill out the Event Summary Form. Here you can request a customized event banner with a numerical summary of all your contributions to the event, fanworks and comments alike. You will also be able to link us to any rec lists, masterposts, or AO3 collections you made for the event. These will also be collected and posted at a later date.
   
• Have fun! Try new things, maybe make some new friends, and hopefully see a bunch of cool new works.

You can find the sign up link over in the sidebar. They will remain open for the entire event so you're free to jump in whenever you like. As soon as you're signed up, you're free to share works.
